I would love to tell my stories to my children and grandchildren. Even though there are so many I can’t remember they are everyday ‘life on the farm’ stories that need some polishing and detail.
I would love to learn the points that tell an interesting story.

There are many places online that can help you gather your thoughts enough to write them down, but here are some quick ideas you can experiment with:
    1. Write what you know. What happened, Why is it important to you. Focus on stories and lessons learned.
    2. The first rough draft can have all the details you can remember. Second rough draft remove everything but what’s important to the story. Third rough draft take out more words to tighten the storyline. Each draft should remove more and more words until only the important message remains. Which is up to you.
And remember, the why is more important than the what.
Good for you, wanting to write your history for your children. Good luck!
